Ksite TV has found out that NBC has renewed their hit spy TV adventure show Chuck for a fifth season with a 13-episode run, but thats it after Season 5, no more.

The other NBC series cancelled right now though with no season 2 is The Event, which is a shame and if you haven't heard NBC didn't pick up Wonder Woman either.

Still not too keen with Kutcher as Charlie, I swear he's younger than the guy who plays Alan, and Charlie is supposed to b older... weird... I would've though Christian Slater would b a good replacement but whatever, what's done is done...

@ LEEE, I read that Chuck was renewed for 13 episodes, but i didnt read that it will def be their final season. But that will be cool to at least put an ending to their story and not leave us hanging.

Good news. Chuck was almost unwatchable.

Sure, Adam Baldwin was there, but that was the only good part.

@Spock Nice, cant beleive they are even considering Ashton for the role, when did Alan become older than Charlie.

The Event never lived up to the hype and the story line was garbage.

Never liked Chuck but I like the Event and I was looking forward to WonderWoman. Maybe CW Network can pick it up as the replacement to Smallville.

It really annoys the hell out of me all these cancels. FOX getting rid of Human Target and Lie to me, but I bet they will keep American Crybabies [Idol]. They should dump Idol and open up a couple of valuable time slots. FOX excutives need to get their asses kicked. All I will have left is Bones and House for the most part. Star Wars whenever I manage to catch it. I guess I will have to find The Avengers now.

Chuck is heading towards an ending, and the finale for this season is called Chuck vs The Cliffhanger, so clearly there will be a cliffhanger to lead into the last season, to finish the story. I'm not saddened by it since they could have technically finished it this season, but they kinda dragged it out a bit (not in bad way). They just dragged it out.

I think I watched the beginning of The Event's first episode and I couldn't get into it for some reason.

too bad, liked chuck but it stretched a bit too far story wise. I think they can slam a great ending on it with 13 episodes if they want to.

As much as I like Chuck, I think it is due for things to end. I like The Event and now it will have a rushed ending, which is a bummer.

I was afraid to get into The Event. I figured they would cancel it like they did flash forward or whatever that show was called. Maybe they should give up and just make mininseries. Practically are anyway.

All my favorite shows are getting canceled all I have to look for to this fall is 13 episodes of Chuck WTF. And I don't even watch Supernatural any more its just not as exciting as it used to be. V, Chuck, No Ordinary Family, Lie To Me, Human Target and even Smallville I have nothing left. Hell I even got into L&O: LA and have not watched a L&O show in years and this new one was pretty good and is getting canceled. Well so far the Mentalist is coming back I hope.
