The actor who plays the character The Haitian on Heroes, who is actually from Haiti, has suffered a huge loss due to the recent earthquake that has killed thousands. This from CNN.....

Haiti native Jimmy Jean-Louis of the TV show "Heroes" lost relatives in Tuesday's 7.0 earthquake and is still trying to locate his parents in the earthquake-ravaged country.
CNN reports that Jean-Louis is seeking his parents after he found out that a home he grew up in had collapsed and killed several family members.
He told CNN, "I have not slept yet. The second house that I grew up in was down, and some relatives have died, from what I have been told." He goes on to say, "I haven't been able to reach my parents. I have heard that they are OK, but I do not know what is going on around them."

He goes on to say that due to logistics he obviously cant go down there to help, and is doing everything he can to help from here. Im sure our thoughts go out to him and all the others affected by this tragedy. If you wish to help i suggest donating to the red cross.

awww...thats so sad. I hope he reaches his parents soon. He must be sick with worry. my thoughts and prayers go out to him and all those suffering from this tragedy.

there are so many ways to help those in need but so many people are scared of those unscrupulous people who take advantage at a time like this. One never knows if what they send will ever be received by those who really need it. Its sad. its very harsh.

while DETEST child slavery and child abuse in any way shape or form, its disgusting, I cannot believe the statement you just made in the wake of the terrible tragedy that has just happened. Have the good people not suffered enough without you wishing them more harm? And all on the account of cuz you "heard". If you hate child slavery, hate the people who are responsible, not the nation as a whole.

HannibalSmith just wanted what you just gave him. Though it was still nice to hear you defend them.
The Haitian is my fave character, i forgot about how this could/would effect him. *sigh* what away to start 2010.
