AHSOKA: New Details Revealed About Ezra Bridger And Grand Admiral Thrawn's Location - Possible SPOILERS

Ahsoka is fast approaching, and while Dave Filoni's plans for the Star Wars franchise are starting to take shape, we still have a long list of questions.

With any luck, this series will answer many of them, including where Grand Admiral Thrawn and Ezra Bridger have been since being pulled into hyperspace by the Purgil. After all, while Ahsoka spins directly out of the events of The Mandalorian, the expectation is that it will serve as a loose sequel to Star Wars Rebels.

That means answers are on the horizon, but a new report from Bespin Bulletin (via SFFGazette.com) may shed some light on where the Imperial and young Jedi ended up.

Apparently, the enemies are stranded in either a new galaxy or part of the existing one we've never visited before. That's referred to as the "New Beyond," and this planet is currently being called the Nodian Highlands.

A large fight is expected to take place there between Ahsoka Tano, Sabine Wren, Morgan Elsbeth, Baylan and Shin, and it's said that Elsbeth's plan is to build a vessel that can venture into the unknown and bring the Grand Admiral back so he can fulfil his destiny as Heir to the Empire.

With that in mind, all signs point to this planet being where Thrawn, at least, has been stuck since the events of the Rebels finale. If he and Ezra have spent years there together, we can't help but wonder what that's looked like, though it's possible Ezra was taken elsewhere.

Timothy Zahn's canon novels have established that Thrawn wasn't exactly beloved by many members of the Empire, primarily because he's an alien. Even Emperor Palpatine didn't fully trust him, so we're curious how that will factor into Ahsoka and Filoni's eventual movie, especially after his rare failures in Rebels

Earlier this week, the title of that was seemingly revealed; you can read more about that here

Ahsoka is currently expected to premiere on Disney+ on August 31.
