AHSOKA: New Spoiler Stills Released As We Finally Hear Marrok Speak In Footage From Latest Episode

The third episode of Ahsoka, "Time to Fly," arrived on Disney+ on Tuesday evening, and while it was a little too brief, it 100% felt like a live-action Star Wars Rebels

From Ahsoka Tano training Sabine Wren to the title character donning a spacesuit to battle Morgan Elsbeth's fighters in zero gravity, Dave Filoni's fingerprints are all over this series in the best way possible. Now, we have a closer look at some key moments thanks to newly released stills.

The focus is primarily on Ahsoka, Sabine, Huyang, and Hera Syndulla, though we also see more of Genevieve O'Reilly's returning Mon Mothma (you can learn more about her role in the episode by clicking here).

In other news, "Time to Fly" also saw the mysterious Marrok finally talk but does his voice offer any clues? Similar to Darth Vader and Kylo Ren, his helmet has a voice modulator which disguises how he truly sounds and the only actor credited as Marrok here is stuntman Paul Darnell.

Sam Witwer's voice is once again listed in the credits, though there's still nothing to suggest we're getting a live-action Starkiller in Ahsoka. It would be tricky to shoehorn the video game character into the series when there's so much else going on, taking us back to the possibility that Marrok is Ezra Bridger.

There's no way he can be Kanan Jarrus - even though it would be a crazy twist - but The Grand Inquisitor somehow being resurrected is another popular theory. However, you can find the latest evidence it might be Ezra beneath the helmet here

Listen to Marrok's voice, and check out those spoiler stills from Ahsoka, below.

My theory is simple, it's Ezra. Basically Filoni keeps paying "homage" to better stuff that came before so I see the character as Tron was in Tron 2 being brainwashed/reprogrammed. He looks like him, moves like him, and now he sound almost exactly like him. And just like how Tron was the hero of the 1st movie he becomes a mini-boss in the next. Plus in this episode there is a scene where he looks at the space whales and it holds on his reaction for a second or two a if he is remembering them. Either this or it's Taskmaster

@WarMonkey - Glad I wasn't the only one to notice his reaction when the Purrgil showed up. It's easy to miss but could be a subtle hint that it's Ezra.

I've seen y'all stretch to believe something unlikely many, many times, but I think this is the first time I've see you stretch to DISbelieve something this likely.

The episode was great and enjoyable.

Marrok turning out to be Ezra would also be the right emotional twist that hits Ahsoka and Sabine, unbalances them and forces them to regroup before proceeding.
