THE BOOK OF BOBA FETT Trailer And Poster Promise A New Era For STAR WARS' Most Iconic Bounty Hunter

Disney and Lucasfilm have finally released the first trailer for The Book of Boba Fett, and it's clear both the bounty hunter and Tatooine are about to enter a new era as we explore Star Wars' Underworld.

The first trailer for The Book of Boba Fett has finally been released, and we're sure those of you who love this iconic bounty hunter will appreciate what you see here. Following the fall of Jabba the Hutt and Bib Fortuna's grisly end at the conclusion of The Mandalorian season 2, Fett is now ruling over Tatooine and he has a very different way of doing things.

The series finds Fett and mercenary Fennec Shand navigating the galaxy’s underworld when they return to the sands of Tatooine to stake their claim on the territory once ruled by Jabba the Hutt and his crime syndicate.

However, taking over isn't going to be easy, which is evident from this sneak peek. The action here looks great, though it's a shame the trailer doesn't wrap up with a money shot of any sort (especially after recent rumours about one key sequence). Something tells us we'll get another look at The Book of Boba Fett soon, as this is very much just a teaser.

The series stars Temuera Morrison and Ming-Na Wen. Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, Robert Rodriguez, Kathleen Kennedy and Colin Wilson are the executive producers. Karen Gilchrist and Carrie Beck serve as co-executive producers, with John Bartnicki producing and John Hampian as co-producer.

The Book of Boba Fett arrives on Disney+ on December 29.
