OBI-WAN KENOBI: Lucasfilm Reveals Identities Of Three Jedi Preserved Within Fortress Inquisitorius

One of Obi-Wan Kenobi's most shocking moments came when the title character discovered a tomb beneath Fortress Inquisitorius full of dead Jedi. Now, a new book has revealed the identities of three of them.

Obi-Wan Kenobi delivered a near-perfect story which not only deepened Star Wars mythology but saw us bear witness to perhaps the greatest lightsaber battle ever when the title character squared off with Darth Vader.

During the course of this series, we spent time with the Sith Inquistors (who don't look quite as good in live-action as they do in animation) and even got to take a peek inside Fortress Inquisitorius. However, it was what the Empire had hidden in its depths which left fans of this Galaxy reeling.

In the upcoming book Star Wars: Dawn of the Rebellion: The Visual Guide, it's confirmed (via SFFGazette.com) that this tomb is indeed filled with the bodies of "captive" Jedi, all of whom are preserved in amber.

While not explicitly stated, these fallen warriors are obviously dead - which is hardly a surprise - but this entry doesn't exactly elaborate on why they're there. Previously, fan theories have suggested they're being used as a means to hide the Fortress or somehow make the Sith more powerful.

While we wait for answers on that front, the identities of at least three of the Jedi have also been revealed.

The child we saw is Youngling Faris, and he's depicted still wearing the training helmet he had on the night the Jedi Temple was attacked by Anakin Skywalker and his Clone Troopers during Order 66.

The second is a Cosian male Jedi, Tera Sinube, who has been active since the High Republic Era. As many of you likely suspected at the time, this is the same Jedi who crossed paths with characters like Count Dooku and Ahsoka Tano in The Clone Wars

Finally, we have Valerie Tide. This book offers the most detail about her, revealing she went into hiding after the Great Jedi Purge. Despite changing her identity, she was eventually captured on Athio III after being identified as a Force user.

With any luck, we'll learn more about Fortress Inquisitorius and these fallen heroes down the line. After all, something must have become of it after the Empire fell...

@CoHost - yes, that near perfect story that makes zero sense on its own, let alone in the ongoing star wars continuity.

@CoHost - Here’s some other Josh Wilding quotes.

"[This] Is The Superhero Movie Event Of The Decade" - Josh Wilding review of ZS Justice league.

"A Movie Made By A Comic Book Fan For Comic Book Fans" - Josh Wilding review of BvS.

Wilding, or one of his 17 aliases that he posts “articles” on here with, simply posts nonsense to drive click revenue. Same with the incessant mentions of the ~Sister sites~ to CBM. It’s actually becoming absurd at this point. I’m just waiting around for the Harry Knowles type of stuff to hit if I’m being totally honest.

@vegetaray - Josh is nowhere near as bad as Knowles and Knowles made absolutely no effort to hide it. His arrogance knew no bounds, as did that of his smarmy little coaxial c**t. Knowles literally ruined people’s careers (people w young families, no less) hacking passwords off of their work PC’s and shamelessly paraded his perceived exclusivity every December until the industry smartened up

If you still have to explain stuff from the show like that then the writers completely failed and did a shitty job. 🤷‍♂️

My question is, does Josh Shillington's kneepads have Mickey ears on them?

I hope "Youngling Faris" isn't supposed to be this kid:

Because that just ruins one of the best moments in Episode III.

@ObserverIO - this scene meant nothing to me when I saw it as a kid. I was like "yeaahh, eff those kids up"

Now that I have a daughter, I'm not sure I can watch it again 🙊

@ObserverIO - Man, I know this gets overlooked because of the campy tone of the movie... but that shit in its own or out of context is [frick]ing scary; the guy slaughtered kids.

@Vigor @EgoEgor - It was so ballsy that he took it so dark after making what was essentially a kids movie with Phantom Menace. I was like OH shit, this took a turn.

Hey, remember when tasm2 came out and we all laughed at their hallway of set ups for future movies?

Well, apparently disney thought that was a sign it was worth bringing into the star wars universe.

Fortress inquisitorius needs to be a fully realized final level in the third star wars game with Cal Kestis
Make it balls to the walls difficult.

I want to see Cal bring about the fall of the inquisitors. Since he isn't there to take down Vader with Luke, let this be his legacy

There's a b.j. joke in here somewhere... but I'm just too tired from laughing so hard at Josh's bait to even care to find it.

PERSONALLY I think it's TOO BAD that Kathleen Kennedy isn't entombed with the other Jedis. THINK of the New WOKE STAR WARS that wouldn't be headed our way
