Up until now, the assumption has been that Obi-Wan Kenobi will see the Jedi Master pursued by Darth Vader's Sith Inquisitors after they finally lure him out of hiding. While there's some truth to that, Making Star Wars is reporting that "Ben Kenobi" is having no trouble staying off the radar ten years after the events of Revenge of the Sith.
Instead, it's a young Jedi, Nari, who tracks Kenobi down to Tatooine after being inspired by the message Obi-Wan sent out to his fellow Force users during the madness of Order 66. This plucky hero hopes to restore the Jedi Order, but is unaware he's jeopardising Kenobi's far more important mission of protecting the young Luke Skywalker from his father, Darth Vader, and the Emperor.
The Third Sister and Fifth Brother track Nari to Tatooine and the former believes she senses Kenobi's presence. Uncle Owen witnesses the villains brutally interrogating the planet's citizens and is quick to send "Ben" away when he attempts to present the young Luke with a gift.
Unfortunately, the site's description of events gets a little less clear from there. They do, however, note that Bail Organa asking for Kenobi's help in rescuing the young Princess Leia provides a perfect opportunity for him to leave Tatooine and ensure the Sith Inquisitors don't discover Luke.
Obi-Wan Kenobi is set to premiere on Disney+ on May 25.
