THE MANDALORIAN Star Pedro Pascal Is Okay Playing Second Fiddle To A Puppet In The Disney+ Series

The Mandalorian has made headlines on countless occasions, though it's often The Child who gets the lion's share of the spotlight. For Mando himself, Pedro Pascal, that's not something he's bothered by!

Fans didn't exactly lose interest in The Mandalorian's title character when it became clear he's not Boba Fett, but the second The Child was introduced, all eyes were on the adorable "Baby Yoda."

The vast majority of merchandise is based on the likeness of that character, and while his origins remain a mystery for the time being, the prevailing theory is that he's a clone who will be somehow tied to the Emperor being replicated by his followers (there may be something about Yoda's, or his species', DNA that turns out to be crucial to Palpatine's return from the "dead").

Whatever the case might be, there's no denying that The Child has become The Mandalorian's breakout star, overshadowing lead star Pedro Pascal in the process. When a fan of the show recently pointed that out on social media, Pascal issued a surprising response, stating, "I'm cool with it."

Having The Child as your co-star is no bad thing, and no matter how much attention the cute little alien receives, the series would not be the same without the Mandalorian himself at the center of everything that happens!
