Last Friday's episode of The Mandalorian, "The Passenger," received perhaps the most mixed response of any instalment to date. Directed by Ant-Man helmer Peyton Reed, it was a fairly middle-of-the-road visit to this Galaxy Far, Far Away, with many fans critical of the way The Child was portrayed.
As amusing as his obsession with the passenger's eggs may have been, it also showed a sinister side to the creature which some viewers definitely didn't appreciate.
You can read our review of "Chapter 10" by clicking here, but in the meantime, we have some new stills from the episode which have been shared by Lucasfilm. The Child gets the lion's share of the spotlight, as do the terrifying spider-like creatures that ran amok during the horror-inspired final act.
Paul Sun-Hyung Lee's New Republic pilot is also highlighted, and the actor recently described the chance to join this franchise as being something of a dream come true. "I was five years old again," he noted. "I got transported to that galaxy far, far away, [I've spent] my entire life watching the movies. To finally be there, to be sitting there, didn't want to leave."
