Never mind a pinch of salt, we're taking this rumour with a whole bucketload! We thought you'd appreciate checking this out, though, especially as it's now gaining some traction online. According to The Sun (yes, yes, we know...), a huge cameo is planned for The Book of Boba Fett's finale.
The tabloid claims Harrison Ford spent three days in London shooting a cameo for the Disney+ series. The site claims "He allegedly broke off from filming the fifth Indiana Jones movie to do the scenes - in which he will be de-aged using computer wizardry."
If true, this sounds a lot like what Lucasfilm did with Mark Hamill's Luke Skywalker in The Mandalorian's season 2 finale. The response to the visual effects used there was a little mixed, but the scene itself was a dream come true for fans, and Han Solo crossing paths with Boba Fett again after what happened in The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi could be epic.
A few online scoopers have dropped hints that there's some truth to this rumour, and it's not the first time we've heard rumblings about Ford showing up for one more appearance as Han Solo.
It was thought the actor only begrudgingly returned for The Force Awakens, making it all the more surprising and satisfying when Han showed up in The Rise of Skywalker. A cameo in The Book of Boba Fett would be a real fan-pleasing moment, but here's hoping it's one that has some meaning.
Do you think we'll see Han in the show or is this Mephisto in WandaVision all over again?
