THE BOOK OF BOBA FETT Rumored To Include A HUGE Cameo In The Season Finale - SPOILERS

This is an interesting, albeit hard to believe rumour, but there's a story doing the rounds online that suggests The Book of Boba Fett's season finale will include a huge cameo. Find more details here...

Never mind a pinch of salt, we're taking this rumour with a whole bucketload! We thought you'd appreciate checking this out, though, especially as it's now gaining some traction online. According to The Sun (yes, yes, we know...), a huge cameo is planned for The Book of Boba Fett's finale.

The tabloid claims Harrison Ford spent three days in London shooting a cameo for the Disney+ series. The site claims "He allegedly broke off from filming the fifth Indiana Jones movie to do the scenes - in which he will be de-aged using computer wizardry."

If true, this sounds a lot like what Lucasfilm did with Mark Hamill's Luke Skywalker in The Mandalorian's season 2 finale. The response to the visual effects used there was a little mixed, but the scene itself was a dream come true for fans, and Han Solo crossing paths with Boba Fett again after what happened in The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi could be epic.

A few online scoopers have dropped hints that there's some truth to this rumour, and it's not the first time we've heard rumblings about Ford showing up for one more appearance as Han Solo.

It was thought the actor only begrudgingly returned for The Force Awakens, making it all the more surprising and satisfying when Han showed up in The Rise of Skywalker. A cameo in The Book of Boba Fett would be a real fan-pleasing moment, but here's hoping it's one that has some meaning.

Do you think we'll see Han in the show or is this Mephisto in WandaVision all over again?

Hopefully it doesn't look terrible like Luke in the Mandalorian. I'm getting tired of the reuse of original trilogy characters.

@SirDuckAlot - I'm just glad he went from I am not Solo to I am Han Solo...although, it's probably a large hill of money sitting next to his home currently I'd imagine if true. Dude does not say no to Benjamins.

This actually makes a lot of sense - would be so great if it's true.

He'll also look so much better than Luke did because they're doing deepfakes from now on. And they hired that guy from Youtube who does perfect deepfakes.

It'll end up like this - which I think is pretty great:

@Nightwing1015 - It's a slippery slope. Keanu and Carrie talked about it briefly during interviews for the film, but, in the future, I suspect it won't be a thing anymore and actor will just have...long careers.

Don't do it. I don't want an elderly sounding Ford voice coming out of a cgi Han. That sounds terrible. Alden, or bust.

@ElricReturns - It won't be his voice tho? Why would it be? It wasn't with Luke.

@Nightwing1015 - ???

Wasn't it Mark on set, doing everything and they just cgi'd everything and altered his voice?

It makes sense. I don't want it, but it makes sense.

Knowing Harrison Ford’s “love” of the role, that would probably account for 45% of the budget if so lol

Disney pays him well, like 8 figures.

I'm leaning toward this being true.

If we're suppose to buy into Boba being a 'good' guy, then there'll be need for him to redeem his actions from ep. 5. and having some interaction with Solo will prob give the character some story beats towards that.

Not a chance in hell. Harrison Ford hates these films so much and he is vocal about it. Wanted Han killed in Jedi and I’m 100% sure that was the only reason he agreed to come back for the Force Awakens.

@Twenty23Three - He did do a quick cameo in Rise of Skywalker though. So I don't think this is impossible by any means.

And there is the option of not using Ford at all and just doing a deepfake or makeup on Alden.

@Nightwing1015 - He only made a quick cameo because the actor who was clearly supposed to be in that scene passed away. He probably only did it out of respect and love for Carrie
