Two episodes in, The Book of Boba Fett has been relatively light on big reveals, instead focusing on the legendary mercenary's time spent as a captive-turned-ally of the Tusken Raiders via flashback. We have been told to expect some major developments as the season progresses, however, and star Temuera Morrison has now teased some big surprises for the finale.
While chatting to THR about the Disney+ Star Wars series and how he ended up signing on to play the son/clone of his Attack of The Clones character Jango Fett (he believes it was fated to happen after meeting Jon Favreau on the set of 2009’s Couples Retreat), the Aquaman actor was asked if any potential cameos on the same level as Luke Skywalker's appearance in the season 2 finale of The Mandalorian are in store.
“Yes, full of surprises. The Book of Boba ‘full of surprises’ series,” he said with a laugh. “Yeah, we’ve got some good stuff coming up. Ooh, wait till episode seven, wow!” At this point, Morrison's co-star Ming-Na Wen reportedly had to stop him from giving too much away!
Possible spoilers follow.
We don't know for certain what - or who - is coming in the season closer, but a rumor recently did the rounds online that none other than Han Solo is set to show up, with Harrison Ford digitally de-aged to reprise the role much like Mark Hamill was for Luke. We didn't put too much stock in this at the time (the source was UK rag The Sun), but after Morrison's comments, it's starting to sound a little more feasible!
