The CW's upcoming Gotham Knights show continues to round out its cast, and the latest addition is playing a character known only as "Brody."

Deadline reports that Rahart Adams (Pacific Rim: Uprising, Nowhere Boys) has joined the ensemble in a series lead capacity. His mysterious role is described as "confident and charismatic, Brody’s got the brains and the looks — and he knows it. However, his entitled attitude covers his insecurity and jealousy of anyone who rivals him."

There's always a chance this Brody fella will turn out to be a newly-created character, but it's just as likely he'll be revealed to be an established hero/villain from the comics. There are a few possibilities, but it's worth noting that "Knute Brody" was a criminal alias used by several members of the Bat-family, including Dick Grayson, Tim Drake, Barbara Gordon, and even Alfred.

Adams joins Fallon Smythe (Grown-Ish) as Bluebird, Tyler DiChiara (Relish) as her brother Cullen Row, Olivia Rose Keegan (Days of our Lives) as Duela Dent, Navia Robinson (Raven's Home) as Carrie Kelley, Oscar Morgan (Trauma) as Turner Hayes, Misha Collins (Supernatural) as Harvey Dent, and Anna Lore as Stephanie Brown.

You can check out the show's updated logline below.

"The one-hour drama takes place in in the wake of Bruce Wayne’s murder. His rebellious adopted son forges an unlikely alliance with the children of Batman’s enemies when they are all framed for killing the Caped Crusader. And as the city’s most wanted criminals, this renegade band of misfits must fight to clear their names. But in a Gotham with no Dark Knight to protect it, the city descends into the most dangerous it’s ever been. However, hope comes from the most unexpected of places as this team of mismatched fugitives will become its next generation of saviors known as the Gotham Knights."

Well, he looks like a Dick.

Really had me hooked with that banner image though. Was hoping for a videogame announcement

@kider2 - oh, I'm not trying to. The opposite even! I'm trying to say he'd make a good Dick, because I like a good Dick!

Wait...

And once this show releases: "WB producing a standalone Nightwing show that is a spinoff reboot with a new actor and it will have no relation to Titans or Gotham Knights and exists in a world where Thomas Wayne is Batman"

@SonOfAGif - Don't joke like that lol. I could see that being greenlit by WB, along with anything else they wanna throw at the wall to see if it sticks.

Dont think they will be using any main Robins considering 3 are being used by Titans and really there is no point in doing Damian without Bruce

I think this show has potential but let’s hope WB puts AND keeps some money into this show.

I know tihs post is referring to the show but regarding the game, it might be fun but i'm baffled we still have no news of a Next-Gen Batman/Arkham game. My interest in this is minimal

@kider2 - serious!? DC is so done.

Comlpete studio and universe course correction is needed. They are spamming lost trash trying to keep from losing anymore market share to Marvel while making the occasional $10 profit. The whole time destryoing DC as a brand.

They don't have a single thing on the horizon i would'nt have to force myself to watch

Interesting. Might not necessarily be another Bat Family member though and could turn out to be another villain offspring like Duela is.

I feel like Maybe we shouldn't use the Gotham Knights Video Game poster for the banner, when it comes to news of this show. I was wondering who Brody is and why the game would be announcing this random casting
