Robbie Amell, cousin of Arrow's Stephen Amell, has recently talked to EW about the sci-fi dramas shot of being handed a second season.
"I know that [executive producer] Phil [Klemmer] has gone in and pitched season two, and I'm very confident that Phil would pitch the hell out of a season two because he's so good."
The actor added '' I think a lot of it is just going to come down to what their pilots look like. If they want to give us a show [that] has an established fan base, does really well internationally, and [has] 22 episodes in the bag - another shot on Mondays, or even move us to Fridays, I actually think that we would do well as a Friday show.
"Or if they want to give their new pilots a show. There's no way of knowing; there's so much politics involved in it. I've just kind of learned that you['ve] just got to go with it, and the right thing will happen."
This comes at a poor time for Tomorrow People fans as the network currently has a strong line of pilots likely to receive season orders including spin off series to Flash and Supernatural.
Saying what the second season may shape up like:
"I think that our season two, although very different than season one, I think it would be a really great show that people would love. "I feel like we've really found our footing in the second half of the season, especially episodes 16 to 22. I think those were our best episodes."
According to industry buzz, the shows chances of renewal are slim but maybe with a different time slot the show could survive a second year. This remains to be seen until the CW will announce the shows future. What do you think, are you a fan of the show and hoping for a return, sound off below!
