"Do The Mario" A Music Video for Mario and His Friends

The biggest and most iconic video game character in the world deserves his own music video. Right? We thought so...

This is a video created by "The Gorgeous Geeks". Christina (me) came up with the concept, shot it, and edited everything while Katrina created the music and lyrics.

This video is about a dance battle between Team Mario and Team Peach against Team Luigi and Team Daisy after Team Daisy decided to crash Peach's tea party.

We wanted to have this done by National Dance Day to celebrate nerdiness and dance, but we ran into obstacle after obstacle while trying to do this video. Obviously these dancers are not professionals and they're mostly a bunch of kids, but they worked very hard and I'm pleased with the end result. It makes me laugh and I hope you guys enjoy it too.

That was very.....weird. Not really sure what this has to do with Mario.

@Destroyer14 Well we decided to make up a Mario dance which was the last one they all did together at the end. "Throw the fireball" and "Do the super jump" and the whole entire song was about Mario. The colors represented the characters. The Daisy and Peach teams had heart powers like they do on Mario Kart Double Dash. Mario and Luigi had fireballs. Then there was a star too.

@gorgeousgeeks Oh, I get it. This was a music video tribute for Mario and friends. I thought this was a music video with scenes from the games when I read the title. Well, in that case, good job.

That was a great video. Very humorous and lighthearted. I'm sure you all had fun making it.

Well Done!

@Oh no! We didn't want to take the chance of getting sued at all, so we made sure not to have Mario hats, scenes from the game, and stuff like that. We wanted to be as safe as possible, especially since we made a song that's available for download. Nintendo ain't suing me! lol
