One of the most popular franchises in Capcom's belt, Resident Evil, has announced a new project making its way to the VR world. The developer just announced "Walkthrough the Fear", a new project that will serve as a prequel to Resident Evil 7, the latest game to expand the franchise's story. The Resident Evil 2 remake, on the other hand, is the latest project from the company.

However, this new VR project from Capcom will take place in Tokyo, Japan on October 26 at The Plaza Capcom Ikebukuro store. This new game will use lore, overall story pieces and even Jack Baker from Resident Evil 7. The game takes place in Louisiana and here are some bullet points from the developer itself.

BIOHAZARD WALKTHROUGH THE FEAR
  • Store information “VR-X” in the Prasakapukon Ikebukuro store
  • Price 2,800 yen (tax included) / 1 person
  • Time required 40 minutes
  • Number of players 2-4 people
  • 4 people play simultaneously. If you apply for 3 or fewer people, you may be able to play with other group members who apply at the same time.
  • Online reservations for one person are only available at 15:00 and 21:00 hours.
There is no word on the game's presence in the West. We do not know if Capcom has plans on bringing the game to the states or even make it playable on other consoles like the PlayStation 4 or Xbox One. You can find Resident Evil 7 for PS4, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch. If more information on this VR experience is shared, we will let you know.
