Yesterday Comic-Con audiences were hit with the news that Disney's The Haunted Mansion was going to get adapted under under the guidance of writer and producer Guillermo Del Toro. Now the studio has unveiled this poster for the new Haunted Mansion. Check it out below.

So far this movie sounds good. I like the idea of turning a comedy into a dark film.

@LEEE777 I don't see how this is comic book related either, but since there's another article about The Haunted Mansion, I thought I should add this.

"del Toro is adamant that the family film has to keep the dark imagery of the ride and be ready to scare the little ones. He also confirmed the character of the Hatbox Ghost on the ride will play a key role."

for those who dont know about the Hatbox Ghost, it "is a character that appeared originally in Disneyland's Haunted Mansion but was removed shortly after the attraction's debut, due to the effect not working well. The idea behind the Hatbox Ghost was for his head to vanish from atop his shoulders and reappear alternately inside his hatbox, in time with an adjacent bride figure's beating heart."
