WOLVERINE Video Game Officially In The Works From SPIDER-MAN Developers Insomniac

Logan fans have been clamoring for a new video game featuring the iconic mutant for many years, and it's just been announced that Marvel's Wolverine is officially in the works!

We don't have a whole lot to go on, but the game is being developed by Insomniac (the studio behind the acclaimed Spider-Man games), which is a very good sign that a certain standard of quality will be adhered to.

Check out a brief announcement teaser below, which finds our clawed friend in his happy place: surrounded by lifeless bodies as he knocks back shots at a bar. One fella is still kicking, and makes the very unwise decision to approach Logan with a knife drawn. The X-Man pops his claws, leaving us eager to see a lot more.

Like the Knights of the Old Republic remake, Wolverine appears to be a PlayStation 5 exclusive (for now), but aside from that, details are few and far between. The game is still in the very early stages of development, so we should learn more in due course.

There have been Wolverine-centric games in the past (some of 'em not half bad), but this marks the first time the character has headlines his own title in many years. Will it be rated M? We bloody hope so!
