Cyberpunk 2077 has made promises like being one of the most revolutionary titles to ever hit the consoles. Fans all over the world have stated their anxiety and overall hype to play this game. The official Cyberpunk 2077 Twitter account has stated that the presentation titled "Night City Wire" will be pushed back to June 25th.
This presentation will include more content that fans have not seen as well as footage that has been previously shared. The original date of this livestream presentation was June 11. CD Project Rek, the developer behind Cyberpunk 2077, said that "more important discussions are happening right now and we want them to be heard." This lets fans know that the developer is standing beside the Black Lives Matter movement and is respecting the times.
Developer CD Projekt Red is not the only company to push back an IP. Sony also issued a statement saying that the PlayStation 5 event has been pushed back to June 4th (2 days from now). These two companies have let fans know that they are connected to the community in other ways than just being a video game company.
