While this looks great, I feel like it was a missed opportunity to have it released around the same time as the movie, or at least by Christmas.

@Dartanian300

Agree but Marvel has dropped the ball on video games it is crazy! They really should have a new video game being released with every movie!

I actually would have loved an Ant Man video game!!!!!

@Matador

Don't know if you are trolling or not but I actually agree with your statement lol. I prefer DC to Marvel but the Marvel Lego games feel bigger in scale than the DC lego games. Hopefully they'll stop calling them "LEGO Batman" and just make "LEGO DC UNIVERSE"

wow the game play looks better than the first!

- there is an open world asgard and avengers mansion
- new york now has random crimes and seems more interactive and alot bigger
- hulk like characters can super jump
- supposedly speedsters like quicksilver can run on walls and water

overall im getting this hands down

Lego Batman 3 failed because they didnt include open worlds, but it seems the are righting their wrongs and going all out on it.

@Earthbound - A little of both it is flame war Wed. right?

(But on the side note I did buy all the Lego games just missing Lego Movie, Lego Batman 3, and Lego Jurassic Park. Mostly for my son.)

@XF14
did you not see what they included in the game? they have a butt load more open worlds, now there are random crimes in the city that you can stop, they added a super jump feature for hulk characters, the roster will be larger than the Lego marvel superheroes, speedsters have been confirmed to run on walls and water, and theres even confirmation that a lego lou ferrigno that paints hisself green is in the game, and there is just so much more in this game than he previous.

Also, will this explore all Phase 2 films? If not, it's weird they threw in Thor 2....

The lego games are great for kids but bore me to sleep. Even my 11 year old nephew doesn't care for them anymore.

Why can't Disney/Marvel just partner with a kick ass developer and deliver a proper Avengers game. Why is the Arkham series the only decent super hero game (not counting the latest entry which has huge problems).

Lego's cash grab is this!

Lego games are awesome this is bullshit going with Disney Infinity & Skylanders route.

A game already incorporating different characters from different worlds would have been glorious but not this pay to play B.S.

The first one was really fun to play with my girlfriend, it's simplistic and easy for a non gamer like her and gives her a better idea of the Marvel universe. It's usually a great bonding experience, so I will definitely pick this one up.

These games are fine for what they are but it's really too bad we couldn't get a proper Marvel game. I loved the Ultimate Alliance games.
