RUMOR: Wolverine, Doctor Doom, Magneto, Daredevil And More Are Coming To MARVEL VS. CAPCOM: INFINITE

Leakileaks is a Reddit user who previously was kind enough to leak the characters that would debut in Injustice 2: Fighter Pack 3. Yesterday, WB. has confirmed that Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Atom and Enchantress will indeed join the superhero roster, so there’s a hope that the user won’t let us down.

According to Leakileaks, Star-Lord, Ms. Marvel plus Capcom’s Asura, Gill, and Lady will debut in the game's season 2. These are not the only characters that are currently in development, as the user mentioned eagerly awaited X-Men characters like Wolverine, Cyclops, Psylocke, Storm and Deadpool. Fantastic 4 will finally be represented by Doctor Doom, but he’s not the only villain in works, as Magneto and Green Goblin should debut soon. The developer also plans to include Daredevil, Ms. Marvel and twelve characters from the Capcom universe.

Four player 2 vs 2 mode is being implemented to the game, but it’s hard to say when the publisher will be ready to release it. Logan and Wade Wilson are expected to launch next summer, but the fate of the rest of Marvel characters is currently unknown. Sadly, you shouldn’t expect to see Ant-Man anytime soon due to major technical issues.

Capcom is also fixing the graphics and the art style to improve the look of MvC: Infinite and aims to have "between 58 to 60 characters” when it’s all said and done. Funnily enough, Marvel voted against including Capcom’s Edward Falcon, because “they didn't want confusion with their Falcon”.

Wonder if this means Marvel is confident in a deal with Fox?

@LaserKing - Precisely what I was thinking. I'm really thinking it is considering how adamant Marvel is with keeping their non-MCU properties out of liscencing.

@Tonic24k - It is ALL connected.

@Tonic24k - This was always rumored to be their plan. Leave out all the fan-favorite characters and then release them later for more money.

And now with MvC:I selling like shit, this is the only way they can make their money back.

They should have just released what fans wanted. Not release a bare-bones fighting game with dumbed down gameplay and a shit roster.

@LaserKing - I don't think it means anything because Fox characters used to appear in the Marvel Lego video game already.

@LaserKing - Yeah, me too. If this Disney-Fox deal is true, then I'm glad we might finally see the X-Men and FF join the MCU and be added to MVCI. I hope Disney confirm the deal a few months later just like they did back when the were buying Lucasfilm in October-December

It's still the worst fighting game.

Hmmmm makes me think that Disney Fox deal will happen. Although a rumor at this point how come now are these characters potentially going to be in the game?

@Frshcoupe - This was always rumored to be the plan. Don't include the most popular characters in the main game, then release them later for more money.

It has nothing to do with Marvel and Fox making a deal and everything to do with trying to make more money.

This was always rumored, but MvC:I is selling like shit so they had to do something.

@PeterSparker - "Sure buddy" what?

What is it that you doubt?

The fact that people have been talking about potential X-Men, F4, and Venom DLC character pacs since launch?

Or is it the fact that MvC:I is selling like shit? Because it is. Just over 160,000 units sold its first week for a game on multiple systems is embarrassing. Especially when you consider hiw popular this franchise is. These numbers speak very loudly of what the fanbase thinks of this garbage game.

Or is it that you think this is being talked about because of a potential Fox/Marvel deal? I would love that as much as anyone. But until there's more news everyone should reign in excitement and expectations. Because as far as we know, it isn't happening.

So I guess I don't get what I said that you find so unbelievable.
