WONDER WOMAN 1984 Director Patty Jenkins Would "Never Say Never" To Helming JUSTICE LEAGUE 2

Patty Jenkins may be hard at work on Wonder Woman 1984 and a planned third instalment of the franchise but the filmmaker has now opened up on possibly directing Justice League 2 and what that would need...

Unfortunately, the Justice League franchise was pretty much killed by the first movie when it was released back in November 2017. What should have been a big win for the DC Extended Universe ended up being a critical failure and a massive box office disaster thanks to reshoots which sent the budget to ridiculously high levels.

We may see another Justice League movie one day but it doesn't appear to be a priority for Warner Bros. right now. However, could someone like Wonder Woman 1984 helmer Patty Jenkins step in to take the reigns? Well, she certainly sounds open to the idea but believes that the characters need their own solo movies before that happens.

"I find those movies to be extremely challenging. I think they're fantastic when they're well done, but taking on all of those characters at the same time and the timeline. I sort of hope that we don't do a Justice League movie for a little while, because I think that each of those characters are really great. I'm super excited to see each of their movies. I want to see Aquaman 2, and I want to see Flash. I don't know. I would never say never, but I think everyone should have a moment to shine right now."

It's a valid point and probably the approach the studio should have taken rather than essentially doing things backwards by throwing these characters into the same space and announcing individual spinoffs (most of which haven't happened or have no one working on them behind the scenes).

Jenkins would definitely be an interesting fit for the Justice League franchise and we know she has a good handle on
action after Wonder Woman

For now, though, she has plenty of irons in the fire with Gal Gadot's Amazon Warrior and that's likely to keep her busy for quite some time to come. What do you guys think? As always, share your thoughts on that in the comments section down below.

@L0RDbuckethead - most of those have no release dates. I could see this end up happening potentially in 6 years but right now no plans.

@HeavyMetal4Life - Agree. Omlette scene in Avengers 2 is far superior.

@HeavyMetal4Life - Disagreed. This scene is nearly perfect imo. It's impressive what Jenkins managed to do with her first big blockbuster and to me her direction is better than Snyder's.

@WakandanQueen - The scene that follows is even better I'd say.
