Wonder Woman 1984 was recently pushed from June to August, but in anticipation of its original release date, we're seeing the sequel receive a lot of coverage in publications coming out over the next month or two (like the Empire Magazine covers we shared with you yesterday).
With that in mind, Vogue recently caught up with star Kristen Wiig to discuss her role as Barbara Minerva/Cheetah in the Wonder Woman sequel and, well, it seems she's not been paying too much attention to what's been happening online in recent months!
"No one really knows that much about the movie," the actress explained, "which is crazy in this day and age. It’s amazing that nothing’s leaked. Everything you get from Warner Bros. is sort of encrypted, like, your computer will explode if you open this."
There has admittedly only been one trailer released for Wonder Woman 1984, but the entire plot of the movie leaked online thanks to test screenings (which has since been corroborated by various sources). We've also seen numerous shots of Cheetah - including a new one below! - despite Warner Bros. going to great lengths to keep the villain under wraps.
