A new still from the upcoming Wonder Woman movie has found its way online, giving us a look at Diana (Gal Gadot) traversing a WWI battlefield. We also have some new quotes from director Patty Jenkins...
A scanned image from the latest issue of Empire provides a new glimpse of Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, bravely making her way across a treacherous World War I battlefield on her mission to protect innocent lives.
As you can see, some quotes from Patty Jenkins are also included in the accompanying copy. The director praises Gadot for being "everything Diana is", while also giving us a better idea of what she hopes to accomplish with the film, and her approach of illustrating what effects the horrors of mechanized war might have on a "god visiting our world."
Before she was Wonder Woman, she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior. Raised on a sheltered island paradise, when an American pilot crashes on their shores and tells of a massive conflict raging in the outside world, Diana leaves her home, convinced she can stop the threat. Fighting alongside man in a war to end all wars, Diana will discover her full powers…and her true destiny.
