Warner Bros. recently registered a number of domain names for Wonder Woman 2, one of which was Wonder Woman 1984. Now, it appears as if that's going to be the title of the sequel because Geoff Johns has shared a logo for the movie which reads, "WW84." This could, of course, be a piece of viral marketing but if nothing else, it pretty much confirms that Cold War setting in, well, 1984 obviously!

The sequel is set to introduce Cheetah (Kristen Wiig) and Narcos star Pedro Pascal has also landed a lead role. The screenplay was penned by director Patty Jenkins, Geoff Johns, and Dave Callaham.

Wonder Woman 2 (Wonder Woman '84?) is the third DC Comics adaptation on the way with a release date set for November 1st, 2019. Before that, we're getting Aquaman on December 21st and Shazam! on April 5th. What do you guys think of this possible logo/setting for the movie? As always, share your thoughts in the comments section below and stay tuned to CBM for further updates on the sequel.

Wow.

I joked a few days ago they should do this. Like GODILLA 1985.

And now here we are. No wonder I like those DC’ers. Minds simpatico.

I’m not exactly thrilled by a 1984 time setting but I’m not pessimistic.
