It's been clear for a while now that Logan will be unlike any other 2017 superhero movie, with the focus put on the relationships between the characters perhaps a little more than CG heavy action scenes. That's perhaps evident from the latest colour images from the movie as we see Wolverine attempting to look after Charles Xavier, and the psychic definitely doesn't look like he's doing well.
Director James Mangold doesn't shed any light on their dynamic in the latest issue of Empire Magazine, but he did have plenty of praise for both his leading man and newcomer Dafne Keane. "If anyone could steal a movie from Hugh Jackman, it would be Dafne. She carries, all the time, a slight strangeness. I could never have gotten this done without Hugh. You're going to see him doing some of the best work I've ever seen him do." The whole thing just keeps sounding better and better, right?
Logan stars Hugh Jackman, Dafne Keen, Boyd Holbrook, Richard E. Grant, Stephen Merchant, and Patrick Stewart. It's currently set to be released on March 3rd, 2017, so stick to CBM for updates.
