With her broken arm in a cast and a big smile on her beautiful face, a brave Halle Berry came marching back into the public eye over the weekend.
But the return of the battle-scarred actress would spark a new mystery over just how she suffered that injury as the actress dismissed published reports she was hurt doing a stunt with Robert Downey Jr. for her latest movie, "Gothika."
Halle says, "I've never gotten hurt doing a stunt."
The Oscar-winner set the record straight for "Extra" at the Comic-Con comic book convention in San Diego where she was joined by sexy "Tomb Raider" Angelina Jolie and other famed stars who have brought America’s favorite paper superheroes to life on the big screen.
Despite wearing a splint, a radiant Halle happily mingled with adoring fans and even greeted some with her outstretched broken right arm.
In fact, gutsy Halle's only complaint was that the injury temporarily halted production of "Gothika" and prevented her from doing her own stunts. She says, "As much as I could before I broke my arm. And I didn't break my arm doing a stunt, ironically."
No, reportedly, it was just an accident during a simple fight scene. So will Halle keep punching away at action hero roles? She says, "Absolutely, yeah."
