All leading up this week’s big trailer debut, eight more still photos have been released from Fox’s James Mangold-directed movie, The Wolverine, revealing many first looks. Featuring Hugh Jackman as the titular mutant yet again, the photos via Entertainment Weekly also include actresses Svetlana Khodchenkova, Tao Okamoto and Rila Fukushima as Viper, Mariko Yashida and Yukio.










Based on the celebrated comic book arc, this epic action-adventure takes Wolverine (Jackman), the most iconic character of the X-Men universe, to modern day Japan. Out of his depth in an unknown world he will face a host of unexpected and deadly opponents in a life-or-death battle that will leave him forever changed. Vulnerable for the first time and pushed to his physical and emotional limits, he confronts not only lethal samurai steel but also his inner struggle against his own immortality. Directed By James Mangold, The Wolverine hits theaters in 2D & 3D on July 26, 2013!

You never know guys, sometimes it's best to hold things out from the audience. Perhaps they'll have the suit appear at the very end. Like a gift he may receive from Mariko at the very end. Or perhaps he will don a similar costume when he goes up against the Silver Samurai?

I highly doubt he will fight in a suit through the entire film...lol

Yukio and Mariko look the goods but I am disappointed about the blonde Viper - looks more like the Enchantress.

She needs green(or at least black) hair and facial scars.

Why do you people think putting her in a green wig/hair dye would be a better idea than having her as she is?

Also, Why do you want an extremely dorky and cheap looking Yellow/Blue suit with a Batman mask on Wolverine anyway? For a berserker character like Wolverine , a tailored suit is an awesome contrast.

Also, Rila is ugly, but Svetlana (Am I spelling that right?) Is GORGEOUS

Not to derail all of the speculation with some rational observation; but from the looks of everything it would seem all of these "in black" outfits have to do with a funeral perhaps. The armband, the garden and the overall dress of almost everyone in the related scenes would suggest a traditional oriental funeral. Maybe a rival faction attacks during such an event? Maybe.

Seeing Viper in that suit gives me just a little hope that we might see him don something like his costume. They're just holding it back from us, because, let's face it, that would be one hell of a reveal in the film.
