For those that missed GameTrailers Friday night, they premiered the first trailer for the upcoming X-Men Origins: Wolverine video game. It's a cinematic trailer, which always looks good, but we still can't help but be excited :o)

We just posted the video on our game site (www.HolyFragger.com) and thought our CBM users would get a kick out of it.

That was pretty dope. Graphics are phenomenal as expected. I didn't like the whole Frankenstein/Darth Vader "Raaaaaaurgh" coming out of the tank bit, but all in all, it's going to be good. There hasn't been an X-Men or Wolverine video game I haven't liked. Not a single one. EVEN the craptastic X-Men game on Nintendo that was garbage by standards THEN was good for me. The Wolverine SOLO game on NES was freakin' phenomenal. Like I said, haven't disliked a single X-Men or Wolverine game to date. So, I'M sure going to like this one. Boo ya!

holy crap, those graphics are awsome. I think just by seeing that, I know that they want to put effort into this game. so i assume that the gameplay too will be awsome as hell

i hope the gameplay lives up to the graphics. But my hopes are still pretty low since it is another videogame based on a movie.

looks AWESOME!

I think they use an in-game engine for the cinematic models. so what you see in this trailer is the way the character will look during gameplay.

Logan-X. why would we put him in a costume? You know that they're going for the "realistic" approach on superhero movies now-a-days. so having him in a costume RIGHT after he escapes is kinda stupid.

the movie looks fine, you're just being cynical.

PEOPLE! quit finding EVERY little excuse you can to bash a movie or video game.

It's not the end of the world as we know it.

it's JUST A MOVIE AND VIDEO GAME!

yes, i understand that Wolverine is an important character to all of us, but c'mon...it is just fiction you know.

life went on before Wolverine existed, it'll still go on if they totally mess this up.

SGA makes some good points, I'm totally with the people that say "I want to see Gameplay"....but I think we all can agree that these video game cinematics are flippin' awesome ! I wish I had all of my favourite video game cinematics on dvd.I already had a post where I said they need to make a big screen movie of something like Secret Wars or Civil War in this style at least a video game !

I love the cinematics from comic book based video games. Also, why is Apocalypse just the quintessential badass of all time? He's just the shit when it comes to non-chelant mutant supremacy, isn't it? Well, at least I think he is.

All Marvel games that are based on Marvel movies have been crap. The PS3 versions were so much better but still when compared to other games, crappy nevertheless. And the PC versions? The gameplay and ingame graphics looked like it was PS1.

The only Marvel games i enjoyed was The Punisher, Ultimate Alliance and Ultimate Spiderman... all not based on the movies. Ironman, Hulk, Spiderman and Xmen on the other hand were a joke!

Hope they change their methods with Wolverine this time. Raven has released a lot of good games and i hope this is one of em.

And oh... the trailer is sweet!

X-Men Legends I and II are dope as shit. X-Men II: Wolverines Revenge, also dope. Marvel UA, Dope. Ultimate UA2 looks dope as well. I enjoyed the X-3 video game much the same as I did X-3 the movie. They could have done a lot more with Iceman in the game, but Nightcrawler was DOPE AS SHIT! He looked fantastic, moves were awesome etc. Punisher was real dope, with the torture methods and what not.

OK, sorry for my flagrant use of the term "dope" I know it's not 1993, but hey, I can do that. I'm IONPARALLAX. Tee hee hee

hmm, The last great video game based on a comic movie was spiderman 2, since then they all been a stinkin pile of crap, I really hope this one works out.
