Olivia Munn Hopes To Return As Psylocke To Star In X-FORCE Alongside Ryan Reynolds' Deadpool

X-Men: Apocalypse star Olivia Munn has revealed that she hopes to reprise the role of Psylocke in that long rumoured X-Force movie. Are you ready to see the ninja assassin team-up with Deadpool?

Like many other characters in X-Men: Apocalypse, what's next for Psylocke is left unclear by the time the credits roll. As a result, where Olivia Munn will reappear is currently a mystery, though it's fair to say that the ninja assassin is probably best suited for a role in the long overdue X-Force movie (which has neither a release date nor a director, though Simon Kinberg is working on the screenplay).

Talking to USA Today to promote the release of X-Men: Apocalypse, Munn was asked about making a possible appearance there, and expressed a great deal of enthusiasm about a team-up between Psylocke and Deadpool. "That would be a really cool thing to do. What he did with Deadpool was genius and I’m so excited for him. It would definitely be cool to see Deadpool and some of the other X-Men characters gather for an X-Force movie. I think that’s what the whole world is coming to — everybody unites together, right? It’s never just one character anymore. We all become one movie."

It would be awesome to see those two and several other characters from the X-Men Universe (Fantomex, please!) in X-Force, and with Fox shifting some release dates around recently, hopefully we'll hear more soon. As always, let us know your thoughts on this news in the usual place.

Yes! Would be lit! In order to fix the age issues just come out and say that some mutants don't age, or somehow have Cable pick members throughout time.

@CaptainAmerica - Except that Wolverine (the one that supposedly doesn't), totally has. And it's all over the map...

...and here he is 30 years "later"...

At this point, who the hell cares? Everyone in Apocalypse looked like they were playing dress up in their parents old clothes, anyway. I could look past all of that if the movies were just good instead of aggressively meh.

I wish she actually acted in these movies. At least give it a try.
