In a recent interview with Eva Green Web, the beautiful and brilliant French actress Eva Green spoke about her two big upcoming comic book roles - Artemisia and Ava Lord. Artemisia is a badass military leader and Ava Lord, as anyone who has read Frank Miller's A Dame To Kill For would know, is a seductive femme fatale who in the book is fully naked for most of the time. We will obviously not see that level of nudity replicated on screen, but some nude scenes are in order.

On 300: Rise Of An Empire:
As for the preparation, I trained four hours a day with a group of stunt men from L.A. for three months before we began shooting. And then I continued training and sword fighting while we were shooting, luckily just on weekends. I’m not the most coordinated person so it was like learning dance steps while swinging two huge swords….It was extremely liberating and empowering!

How was her preparation for the role:

The nudity in Sin City: A Dame To Kill For:
Ah, the nudity… Well, for the character her body is a weapon, a tool she uses to lure men to her, therefore it isn’t gratutious. Also I trusted Robert Rodriguez’s eye for the way he filmed all the scenes and knew that they would be done tastefully, artfully, and he would put me to my best advantage.

How was the experience on working with Josh Brolin:
Well for the green screen, it was pretty distabilizing as there’s nothing real around you, so the most important thing is to connect with the other actor, otherwise you’re lost… Josh Brolin was a wonderful partner, he really does have that "film noir" aura about him, hard boiled with a heart of gold.

Women, who sell their asses for nude scenes are cheap. But still, I'm a man, so I'll enjoy it. LOL

A woman doing something sexual in an adaptation of Frank Miller's work. What a shocker.

Some of Frank Miller's work is way over top! The sequel to The DKR is crazy....I think he was smoking something when he wrote that.

And she is hot!

I don't need an army of 300 soldiers to conquer a race, just 72

She really is the Frank Miller poster girl, now ain't she? And at least she's a true artist and doesn't get all shy when it comes to her body like some people.. .ahem... Alba... Hurm...
Brainic3000@ You're so right. Unless they've read it, people just don't understand what you mean by crazy. Miller went completely off his pickle on that book. He's been nuts ever since. I mean, I loved me some Miller in the past, but I love him even more since he went off on one.
Who the hell would think that the sequel to a book like Dark Knight Returns could be so fvcking funny?!

Eva's French and passes best as an European Femme Fatale:

@SimyJo

Yeah, I agree. Eva's beautiful but seriously... as a Persian queen / military leader (or whatever it is she's playing) - I really can't see it.
I think Roario Dawson would of been a better choice - she's smoldering hot exotic beauty!:

@SimyJo:

Perhaps, but she lacks the sheer animal sexual ferocity Rosario capable of:

Plus she's happy to do aquatic scenes!:

@SimyJo:

I think you are just obsessed with Rosario Dawson, this post is about Eva Green, why cannot you except that a European actress has been cast as a Persian military leader and just deal with it?

@SimyJo:

I am dealing with it (and I don't appreciate your tone!- reported!) - but ethnicity in casting only goes so far.... ask yourself why Kryptonians don't resemble Aborigines and we have an Aborigine Superman...
SimyJo
SimyJo - 5/28/2013, 4:27 PM
Aborigine Superman?! - WTF!? - you're a nutjob!.

Ok THAT hurt my feelings.... I'm trying to prove a point here about Ethnicity. Name calling isn't helping the matter.

i am confused. Did Clive Owen not return for Sin City or is Brolin just portraying the Dwight character for the first half of the story?
