At this point is fair to assume that the James Bond Producers will never consider Rome as a location ever again. After the Rome goverment banned the production crew of this year´s Spectre from filming in two other historic locations, now the Archconfraternity of the Departed (religious group) has forbidden the crew from filming in a 2000-year-old cementary because they want to respect and preserve the integrity of the tombs in said cementary. The crew are currently trying to rework the scene so it can take place in the Museum of Roman Civilisation.

This incident is only the latest setback the production has suffered. After 4 abandoned locations, Daniel Craig injuring himself and cars being stolen in the Alps (not to mention that Sony hack) it will be really interesting to see just how much these setbacks affect the already rushed film. Will we get another rushed but great film like 1987´s The Living Daylights? Or will we get another mediocre rushed film like 2008´s Quantum of Solace?. Only time will tell.

I've always wanted to see Bond make a pit stop in NYC or DC. Maybe we'll get that in the future

@Reasonnnn

We got NYC full of back steryotypes and campy antics in 1973´s Live and Let Die. Wonderful film BTW

Did you just say Living Daylights is better than Quantum?? wow, I totally disagree.......Daylights opens with Bond's ass in the air fighting through a car roof!! Craig's Bond would never look that ridiculous..
