A charity event known as FRENCH TOAST AND HUGS recently featured MAD MAX: FURY ROAD stars Zoe Kravitz, Riley Keough, Nicholas Hoult and Abbey Lee as well as our first look at an Interceptor, Max's ride of choice, from the film. You can see the car pictures below, but the very presence of the vehicle seems to call the film's setting somewhat into question.

Supposedly set after the events of MAD MAX: BEYOND THUNDERDOME, Merrick over at AintitCool.com has pointed out that Max's car was destroyed by that point in the character's timeline.

Therefore either Max finds a new interceptor which he customizes similarly, FURY ROAD is no longer set post-THUNDERDOME, the car is only being used in a flashback sequence of some kind, or perhaps FURY ROAD is now a full-on reboot?
