"Either the second series of Steven Moffat’s Sherlock has taken on physical form and wrapped itself up in every layer of clothing it owns in a desperate attempt to clear the snow from its drive-way, or it is in the process of being made by the BBC production team.
Despite the current conditions, we feel the second scenario is more likely, and indeed a quick inspection of The New York Times (one of our favourites) tells us that the show’s chief writer has been speaking of how the new series of the hit detective drama is taking shape.
“We’re doing another three films, so the other two writers have started, I won’t be able to start for a while, so I’ll come skidding in at the last minute and do my bit,” said the talented layabout Steven Moffat, before admitting that Sherlock does clash with his other project at times....
Moffat has previously hinted that elements present in next Autumn’s second series (which will consist of three 90 minute episodes) might include Holmes’s love interest Irene Adler and the great detective’s final battle with Moriarty at the Reichenbach Falls."
