So Much Better Than Captain Marvel- Let Me Tell You Why.

With the recent release of Marvel's Captain Marvel, I couldn't help but compare it to the success of Wonder Woman. After all, both are strong leading lady heroes but which is better?

The DCEU has been in a state of flux for years. Struggling to get off the ground and after multiple rough entries into the series all eyes were on Patty Jenkins to bring Wonder Woman to the big screen for the first time. There had been female super hero movies before hand but never on this scale. Thankfully Patty Jenkins and Gal Gadot turned out to be a great team that lifted this movie up as possibly the best DCEU movie to date and one of the best super hero movies in years.

Wonder Woman was widely considered to be the best female super hero movie out, mainly because it was the only good one of note, that is until Captain Marvel popped up. Starring Brie Larson and Samuel L Jackson, Captain Marvel had a lot riding on it. Create a fun and engaging super heroine and lead into the biggest cinematic event of the year (outside Star Wars??) with Avengers: End Game. I feel it did neither well and believe Wonder Woman to be, BY FAR, the better of the two films. In my review I explain why.

WONDER WOMAN 2017 DIRECTOR- Patty Jenkins CAST- Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Robin Wright, Danny Huston, David Thewlis, Connie Nielsen.
