This week, multiple outlets have reported that Warner Bros. has finally cracked and decided to release the Snyder Cut of Justice League. That's both unexpected and welcome, and it seems as if we should all keep our eyes peeled during filmmaker Zack Snyder's Man of Steel watch party tomorrow.
The Wrap's Umberto Gonzalez teased this on Twitter yesterday, hinting that an announcement could come during or after Snyder talks fans through his 2013 Superman reboot.
Slash Film's Peter Sciretta has also hinted that Snyder Cut news is coming, so some legitimate and reliable sources are now strongly indicating that these claims about Justice League are real. Wednesday feels like a fitting time for Snyder to drop this bombshell, and we could get anything from a throwaway comment about plans for it to be released to an actual teaser trailer.
Some fans don't care about an alternate version of Justice League, while others have passionately campaigned to #ReleaseTheSnyderCut for the past two-and-a-half years. Whatever side of the fence you fall on, however, there's no denying that it will be interesting to see Snyder's original vision for the movie.
