A new international trailer and TV spot for Resident Evil director Paul W.S. Anderson's adaptation of Capcom video game, Monster Hunter, are now online, featuring more exciting footage of Milla Jovovich going up against some massive creatures.

The teasers give us some exciting new shots of the fearsome Black Diablos along with several other monsters, some of which appear to be friendly. We also get a first proper glimpse of Thai martial arts legend Tony Jaa as The Hunter of the title as he shoots a flaming arrow at one of the beasts.

Milla Jovovich stars as Captain Artemis (a character created for the movie), who leads her team of Army Rangers to a location known as Wildspire Waste in an effort to rescue their colleagues from, you guessed it, monsters. There, they encounter a mysterious warrior (Jaa) who aids them in their mission.

"Behind our world, there is another: a world of dangerous and powerful monsters that rule their domain with deadly ferocity. When Lt. Artemis (Milla Jovovich) and her loyal soldiers are transported from our world to the new world, the unflappable lieutenant receives the shock of her life. In her desperate battle for survival against enormous enemies with incredible powers and unstoppable, revolting attacks, Artemis will team up with a mysterious man who has found a way to fight back."

Monster Hunter is set for a theatrical and VOD release next month, and also stars Meagan Good, T.I., Diego Boneta, and Ron Perlman. Do you guys plan on checking this one out?

I didn't knew Tony Jaa was in this too. Now that's makes me watch this more already. And why does the voice-over in the beginning sound like John Malkovich?

At least this looks closer to actually being about monster hunting.
