Another Gatchaman Trailer

Another Gatchaman Trailer

Science Ninja Team Gatchaman is a 5-member superhero team that is composed of the main characters in several Japanese anime created by Tatsuo Yoshida and originally produced in Japan by Tatsunoko Productions and later adapted into several English-language versions.

It is also known by the abbreviated name Gatchaman. The original series, produced in 1972, was eponymously named Kagaku Ninja Tai Gatchaman and is most well-known to the English-speaking world as the adaptation titled Battle of the Planets. The title is unofficially called as G-Force (not to be confused with the subsequent 1980s English-language adaptation of Gatchaman, known as G-Force: Guardians of Space). Tatsunoko also uses the official translation Science Commando Gatchaman, as shown in numerous related products and media. A second feature film version of Gatchaman is being produced by Imagi Animation Studios for release in 2011. The first feature film was released in 1978.

This teaser is very long. I think it would make more sense to shorten it a little and have the full version as part of the article's content.
The action in this movie looks pretty impressive.

I'm loving this, but I think it's more because i'm biased toward the brand. I remember watching g-force, along with robotech, and voltron when I was a kid, so I have a nostalgic feeling with this. It looks like star wars: clone wars with a bigger budget, but i'd go to see it

this looks less like a trailer and more like an animation test. I could not be less excited for this movie.

I can't wait for this. Gatchaman is such a weird name. The Japanese have a weird sense of what's cool for them. LOL Gotta love them for having a great imagination though. Cheers. ; )

I think some are underestimating the animation quality here. I though the last TNMT animation was going to be crap when I saw the trailer, but after seeing the movie as a whole I realized how amazing the animation and style really was.

Sorry to be buzzkill but this vid is from 2007. I saw it way back in the day when I was excited about the new TMNT flick. I've heard talk on G4 and some other places that the movie is in development hell, but that is probably just a rumor.

Also is it just me or was that audio way off?

WebbOfCarnage- It's not only in development hell but the very studio is in bankruptcy hell so ANY project from them is in development hell. I just hope they get a benefactor like they did with Astroboy to give them just enough to put out Gatchaman!!!! After that, i can die happy LOL ;P
