INCREDIBLES 2's Rotten Tomatoes Score Has Been Revealed
We've been waiting fourteen long years for a sequel to The Incredibles and now that it's finally here, does it live up to expectations? Well, you can find out how it's faring on Rotten Tomatoes right here.
Yesterday, the embargo lifted on reviews for Incredibles 2 (you can find those by clicking here) but how is the sequel currently faring on Rotten Tomatoes? As controversial as the site may be, it plays a huge role in helping moviegoers decide whether or not to check a movie out and these days, a low score can result in box office disaster. Thankfully for Disney and Pixar, that's unlikely to be an issue for them.
As of right now, the animated follow-up has an impressive score of 96% based on 48 reviews. Only two of those are Rotten and while UK-based critics have yet to weigh in (Incredibles 2 isn't released there until July), it's likely that this score will remain high. Its average rating is 8.2/10 which is also very good.
According to the Critics Consensus, "Incredibles 2 reunites Pixar's family crimefighting team for a long-awaited follow-up that may not quite live up to the original, but comes close enough to earn its name." So, while it's not quite up there with The Incredibles, it appears as if Brad Bird's sequel is a worthy follow-up and that fans of the franchise will want to check it out. Will you be among them?
