At WonderCon earlier today, Jeph Loeb announced who would be providing the voices for the characters in two of Marvel's highly anticipated Anime series.

Adrian Pasdar will be voicing Tony Stark, as Iron man takes on the evil Zodiac Organization and Milo Ventimiglia gives his take on Wolverine as he takes on Japan's criminal underworld. Both actors previously worked together as Nathan and Peter Petrelli in Heroes

Said Loeb..

"Adrian and Milo are perfect as Iron Man and Wolverine. It's extremely exciting to see these talented guys take on two of the most iconic Super Hero roles of all time."

Both series will premiere on G4 in July 2011, with Blade and X-Men following later in the year.

You put the actors in the wrong order for the "respectively" to count.
Should be Milo then Adrian for Wolverine and Iron Man respectively.

As usual, Japan gets the powered suit down right, but the second they need to do a masculine (i.e. a guy that would not look hot in drag) man... they screw it up completely.

That's a damn shame. With Adrian, at least Tony Stark and Nathan Petrelli will have something in common. I don't know about Milo voicing Wolverine. If they want to do animation, then they should finish Heroes as a animated miniseries, fixing the disasters that ended the show.

Milo Ventimigilia would make a good younger Tony Stark I think. But loving the idea of Pasdar as Stark, he has an RDJ vibe about him.

Already seen both anime's and to be honest Wolverine started off good going with the Claremont/Miller story but got old and boring real fast. Ironman was surprisingly good, But a little slow in the beginning. Xmen just had it 1st ep and it was really good. Go to anime shippudden to watch them or just look it up by name on youtube.

The Wolverine and Iron Man in those pictures are not representative of the actual series.

In the case of Wolverine this is good (though he's still tall and thin more Hugh Jackmany) and in the case of IM this is bad, though both series were pretty rubbish... X-men still has promise though.

those pics at the top aren't what they actually look like, i know wolvie looks like a woman, but they fix it in the anime, but if u really want to feel the anime, i suggest watching them subtitled. cause i know it might be great the these two actors are picking up the roles, when they do the recording, it will be like the old kungfu movies. i thought that with more technology they would fix this problem, but they didn't cause i saw the gantz movie and the english dubs are horrible. first they try and sync the lip movements with the anime, and largely the emotion is taken away from the characters, so what u have are ppl reading off of paper, and thats what it feels like. more than likely u won't like the anime, cause it will feel cheesey, i suggest watching it the way it was made, in japanese with english subs, so of u might not be a fan of subs, but sometimes its best to watch things the way its made originally. just saying. but the ending of ironman anime was a cop-out, and wolverine was better, and the 1st of xmen has me real excited, but im use to the comics wolverine, pre-hugh jackman, nothing wrong with hugh, but wolvie is short and hairy, and mean as hell, but jackman did him service and changed the way they drew wolverine from that movie on. but check the animes out,

It should be the other way around. Adrian as Wolverine and Milo as Ironman.

I guess wolverines healing factor went bonkers, made him tall, fem, and made his hair and nails grow. I say its all bleck unless with you try and pretend its some alternate world. Also is it me or people over use the word anime (as opposed to animation or cartoon) really the biggest differnce is trying to make something sound cooler than it is and a lot of mellow dramatic gaspig

@hunterelf Thanks for the link. The X-Men series is pretty cool especially since it kicked off with Dark Phoinex Saga. But the Wolverine series is a mess.

GUYS!! THEY DON'T LOOK LIKE THE ABOVE IMAGES!! that was the first images released last year when the announcement was made that marvel characters were getting the anime treatment. since then they have been following fans comments and edited the images. wolverine doesn't look like that now, ironman doesn't either, the ironman anime is alright i just don't like the fact that tony stark isn't arrogant and that when he gets into his armor, its cgi, so its a 2d/cg hybrid anime, i don't like those.
wolverine is better, it has more cameos, and he fights iconic marvel badguys.
but the xmen so far is the best one. check them out on hunterelf's links. and thanks hunterelf for that link, i can add it to my anime list.
