Alita: Battle Angel was originally going to be released on December 21st, something which would have put it head to head with the likes of Aquaman, Bumblebee, and Mary Poppins Returns

20th Century Fox widely made the decision to push the James Cameron-produced anime adaptation back to February 14th, 2019, a slot which worked well for Deadpool back in 2016 and could help ensure that the movie doesn't get lost in the shuffle. Now, it's been given the spotlight on the latest cover for Empire Magazine which you can check out below. 

Alita: Battle Angel features an impressive cast made up of names like Rosa Salazar, Christoph Waltz, Jennifer Connelly, Mahershala Ali, and Ed Skrein. Three of them can be seen on the cover below, but it's Salazar's Alita that quite rightly takes centre stage here.
