DRAGON BALL SUPER: BROLY Officially Announced & Poster Released; The Legendary Super Saiyan Is Back!
It's official: The upcoming Dragon Ball Super movie, which is due out in December, will resurrect the fan-favorite Legendary Super Saiyan and pit him against the combined might of Goku and Vegeta...
Dragon Ball Super may have concluded its run, but Akira Toriyama still has plenty of Dragon Ball stories left to tell, the first of which will be out this December in Japan.
Following a whirlwind day of Broly-related rumors, Toei Animation officially confirmed that the upcoming movie will indeed resurrect the Legendary Super Saiyan and will thrust him in an all-new adventure that will further explore the origins of the Saiyan race and pit him up against both Goku and Vegeta.
In an open letter, Toriyama teases, "Naturally you’ll get to see fierce combat, but also, the paths of destiny that lead to an encounter between Goku, Vegeta, and Broly. It also involves the Frieza Force and the history of the Saiyans, which end up having a major connection to everything. The story content turns out to be very large-scale and dramatic."
While there's no word on the U.S. release just yet, Dragon Ball Super: Broly will hit Japanese theaters on December 14th. A teaser trailer was released back in March and it was recently confirmed that the full-length theatrcial trailer will debut at San Diego Comic-Con next weekend.
