After much anticipation, the second trailer for 'Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantamania' was released online, and I have to say, February 17 can not seem more far away after my first 100 viewings of this trailer!
There were many engaging visuals and plot points shown throughout the trailer, and I have no doubt that the movie will fail to meet, or further exceed the expectations that I have set for it!
As we all expected, the reavel of the big headed baddie "M.O.D.O.K." was a major highlight of the trailer, and I could not have been more blown away by how good this character was treated with the transition into live-action!
First Look At M.O.D.O.K.!
Though the character in general has no threatening attributes, being that he is of sound, mind, and body a comically large head with small limbs, I enjoyed the correct decision of giving him an upgraded look, by providing him with an intimidating looking mask to wear in battle.
Another HUGE confirmation that was included in the newest trailer was something we have been speculating for a while, the identity of M.O.D.O.K. It is none other than Yellowjacket, played by Corey Stoll from the first Ant-Man movie.
Corey Stoll (Yellowjacket) as M.O.D.O.K.!
We knew that M.O.D.O.K was going to be a human head, although for a brief moment I thought he would be a robot. No, he is a human head, and while the CGI is a laughable sight, I am fully on board with the look they chose to go with.
As far as I am concerned, M.O.D.O.K could not have looksed more comic-accurate, and more amazing for live-action -- that is when he is wearing his mask, however.
