Hawkeye has introduced us to Hailee Steinfeld's Kate Bishop, and the character is one fans have already embraced in a big way. While it's clear she has a future beyond the Disney+ series, there's been no word on when or where the world's greatest archer will appear next.
If a rumour shared by Midgard Times is to be believed, then it could be Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania. The site claims that Steinfeld was recently spotted at the UK's Pinewood Studios in Buckinghamshire, likely when she was in the UK for the premiere of Hawkeye a few weeks back. There's a chance she was just there to visit the set or film promotional material (like this, for example), but we'll see.
If Steinfeld has shot something for the Ant-Man threequel, then it could be to set the stage for the Young Avengers to assemble down the line. Kathryn Newton is playing an older Cassie Lang in the movie, and is expected to suit up in one of her superhero personas like Stature or Stinger. Elijah Bradley was introduced in The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, while we're expecting to see older versions of Billy and Wanda Maximoff in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
Considering Iron Lad is a Kang the Conqueror Variant, we'd bet on the team assembling soon.
Regardless, we're sure the final episode of Hawkeye will somehow set the stage for Kate's Marvel Cinematic Universe future, so it might be just a couple of weeks before this rumour is verified (or not).
Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania is set to be released on July 28, 2023.
