Many announcements came out of Disney's D23 Expo and it seems Pixar has shed some light on the Ant-Man rumor...

Following his presentation this morning at Anaheim's D23 Expo, John Lasseter held a press conference, fielding questions about upcoming projects, including dismissing a rumor that Pixar may be looking at Marvel Studios' Ant-Man and offering a sly "no comment" on potential sequels to other Pixar properties.

"I had met all the folks from Marvel a couple of times and they're terrific. The whole Ant-Man thing is just a rumor."

So...PIXAR is not involved with Ant-Man.

Cars is actually not a bad story. It's more about Americana and Route 66. Remembering the way life used to be.

I don't think all the Marvel films will ever be made live-action. We may have to accept some as animated. Pixar doing some is a good idea.

I thought Cars was cute. Perhaps a bit boring at times.
I thought Mater was funny. If only rednecks were really as nice as that.

It reminded me of a cartoon I used to watch as a kid. It was called Wheelie And The Chopper Gang.lol

But anyway back on Ant Man. I think that something like that could work if it was in the right hands. But something like that could turn out to be very very risky, and so I can understand why interested parties would be reluctant.

Which Ant Man will they make? Because the current one is a dirty perv, (nothing wrong with it) but translating into Disney's context....

Id actually like the second Ant-Man to be the star of his own movie! Hank Pym is an Avenger so keep him there, the latest is a pervand a pretty weak character but the second Ant-Man, Scott Lang is the most interesting!

He steals Pym's Ant-Man costume to help save his sick daughter! Now that would make a good movie! :)

I agree with CAPTAIN BRITAIN here!!! ; D

If this ANT-MANS supposed to be very light, keep PYM in AVENGERS an LANG for the ANT-MAN spin off movie! ; )

Ive joined the DARK SIDE lol, WATCHMEN guy is a perfect HANK PYM!!! ULTRON is coming heh heh!

As for the light ANT-MAN movie, PEGG is perfect for SCOTT LANG, perfect for DISNEY!!!

Yep, he ain't my HANK no more! : (

LEE: lol, ive just read vol.1 of 'Captain Britain and MI:13' (awesome!) so now CapB obsessed! ;)

Though i still want Michael Rapaport for Pym, Patrick Wilson would be great in the role (and also great for Captain America IMO!) I could definitely see Pegg as Scott Lang though! :)

JOSH / WEINER @ Lol! ; D

Well if its a COMEDY sort off, then yeah, PEGG should do the ANT-MAN spin off, of corse PATRICK would be in it for a bit, but PATRICK is in THE AVENGERS in the MORE serious role as HANK PYM!!

WEINER @ He's still ANT-MAN, just ANT-MAN 2 lol! ; D

JOSH @ How about RAPAPORT for ANT 3 as after the light ANT-MAN movie with PEGG, we get a Darker ANT movie or series with RAPAPORT!?! An RAP can have a BIT part in it, that leads up to his ANT-MAN in the future!

I know lol, lets just get PATRICK an the AVENGERS out the way first lol! ; D

Hey, you like the PIC of PAT??
