No Costume For Michael Douglas In ANT-MAN

It appears that Michael Douglas won't be donning any superhero garb in Peyton Reed and Marvel Studios' Ant-Man. "My costume will be hung up and Paul [Rudd] will be wearing it in good form."

Should you expect the older, Henry Pym to suit up in the Ant-Man costume and fight alongside Scott Lang (Rudd) in Peyton Reed's Marvel Studios debut?  It's not likely to happen according to star Michael Douglas.  When asked for an updated on the film - in paritcular on the costumes, Douglass told MTV, "Paul Rudd is ripped.  He’s been training and working out for this picture for a long time. He was so cut, that they had to soften his costume up, with all the built-in six-packs and all of that." When asked if he'll be wearing a costume, he stated, "My costume will be hung up and Paul will be wearing it in good form.

Here's another video with Douglas, where he briefly recounts the history of Hank Pym as an orgianl Avengers member and also shares his thoughts on James Gunn's Guardians of the Galaxy.

No surprise here. I did not expect him to wear any type of costume as it was.

I just had this random thought go through my head but I would NOT be surprised if 'Ant-Man' ends with someone using the time gem and allow Hank Pym to return to his youth. That would then give us the chance to see Hank join the Avengers.

Just a thought.

Lame!! Why does Marvel keep showing us Hemsworth abs and Evans abs and not Douglas abs and Hopkins abs?? You have no idea how marketing works!

I'm sure there is a way to convert a Batman Beyond costume into an Ant-Man Beyond costume.

You people really think this is surprising?

If you have a younger actor to play him why do you think he would be in costume when it's obvious the younger actor IS the one that will be playing in costume...

Umm...good news? Not really sure if this matters, since anyone with a brain knew not to expect Douglas to 'Suit Up'...

But, Rudd ripped??? That's even more surprising than Pratt being ripped...

From everything I've heard of this stinking turd it sounds like FOX is making this thing instead of the usually amazing Marvel Studios?

I can see why Marvel fired that [frick]er Edgar Wright, it was to stop him from doing even more damage.
