AVENGERS ASSEMBLE renewed for a third season

Marvel's latest Avengers animated series is getting both a second and third season with multi episodes stories, classic material adaptations and an expanding roster

While some adult fans were hoping that Marvel's recent series Avengers Assemble will only last for a season, it seems the show has not only been renewed for a second season, but also a third.

It seems Marvel and disney Xd have seen the potential of the series, especially since, according to Daily Marvelite, Stephen Wacker is personally overseeing the show with promises of multi-episode story arcs, Classic Avengers stories adaptation and an expanding roster.

Expect to learn more details at SDCC.

After giving it a second rewatching it grew on me. Yes, not as good as Earth's Mightiest Heroes was especially since it retold the same stories that EMH for a couple episodes but it does have it's funny moments. Looking forward to Ms. Marvel, Vision and Ultron being on the show as well as Black Panther and Ant-Man too!

Yes it's true that this show suck and that EMH was better. But all American cartoons suck, I guess I'll stick to my anime.

The thing is, I would be okay with Avengers Assemble existing if something of similar quality had been made to fill the void left by EMH. That hasn't happened.

I hold out hope that the Netflix series may be able to do that, so I shall wait and see.

To be clear, I have never even attempted to watch AA. I only needed to read the comments here (and this: http://io9.com/this-avengers-assemble-episode-was-a-crime-against-all-1563425417 ) to know it wasn't for me.

Alpha - I get why they couldn't continue Spectacular Spider Man, rights and all that legal mumbo jumbo. But I can't for the life of my figure out why they would cancel Earth's Mightiest Heroes! This series is just blah and every current Marvel cartoon is terrible!

Having cartoons geared for the lowest denominator stifles the genre

EMH spectacular Spider-Man and even JLU were [frick]ing retarded

Arrow and flash make me physically sick

There were once great comic book adaptations we could all enjoy

I was bored one day and so I bothered to watch all of this show. Terrible. They should have called it 'The Iron Man and Hulk Show'.

The only episode I happen to like was the one with the Defenders. It was cool seeing Noir Spider-Man.

So, this series gets a third season while Earth's Mightiest Heroes, Green Lantern TAS and Young Justice stays in cartoon's hell? There is no justice in this world.

v given this new show a shot, but i just got bored. EMH's the equivalent to DC's Justice League/JLU, the style's got charm, and the story telling is just on the money, where this AA feels rather more kiddie-oriented and the toon style is just dull.

wish Jeph Loeb would wise up and hire back the EMH people to continue THAT version of Avengers toons.

@AlphaAndDecima: Well I'm not RealRemyLeDouche but I'll go ahead and defend those things: Bayformers is great especially Transformers: Age of Extiction, the TASM films were good although the Raimi films are still better, and this show has its good moments as well as its bad. The episodes with the Cabal and Doctor Doom were really good while the other episodes I could care less for.
