With Kevin Feige revealing that the first trailer for Captain Marvel is still at least a few months away, it's now become clear that we have quite some time to wait before getting a first look at Avengers 4.
Throw in the fact that Marvel Studios is giving Comic-Con a miss and it's apparent that the movie's title will also be kept under wraps for the time being. Now, however, we finally have an update on when that might be revealed and it's probably exactly the answer you expected. During a recent interview, Feige was asked when we can expect to get news on that and it'll be sometime near the end of 2018.
"That’ll be after the Captain Marvel teaser probably," he confirmed, "announcing that title. It’ll be towards the end of the year with however we launch that film." Seeing as the first Avengers: Infinity War teaser was released at the end of last year, this makes total sense and it likely means the second trailer would be attached to Captain Marvel as the exact same thing happened with Black Panther.
It would be an interesting decision to not reveal the title until the trailer for Avengers 4 debuts but Marvel's marketing plans will likely become clearer soon. What do you guys think? Sound off below.
