FAN-MADE: Awesome Poster For AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR

Marvel's first Avengers: Infinity War movie won't be with us until 2018, but in the meantime we have this great fan-poster from Boss Logic, depicting Thanos the Mad Titan proudly wielding the Infinity Gauntlet with all six stones. Take a look...

Thanos never really seemed to be in that big a hurry to gather the six Infinity Stones in previous MCU movies, but he definitely seemed to be on mission in the Avengers: Age Of Ultron mid-credits sequence, and we assume by the time Avengers: Infinity War roles around in 2018 that he'll have completed it.

We've seen a promotional image of the Mad Titan brandishing the gauntlet already, but now Boss Logic has put together the awesome poster below exclusively for IGN; and it gives us an idea of how the villain might look after vanquishing Earth's Mightiest Heroes.

I wanna say it's great, but something seems off. Thanos' placement, maybe? The placement of the logo? Something.

Composition's a little weird (too vertical, I think), but cool idea and great photoshopping.

Is this battle going to come down to Earth? Out of all the laces in the galaxy?
Does that mean that Vision is going to be the final piece to the Infinity Gauntlet?

@Doopie

He'll probably have some massive force attack Earth to give us our big badass action sequence. Or perhaps it'll be the Guardians battling in space, and The Avengers on Earth? Either or.

It's an amazing poster. My only gripe with the poster is a minor one, I think the size of Thor's hammer should be scaled down just a bit.

All of the not-yet-dead villains should appear in this; Red Skull (definitely), Ultron (maybe), Loki (obviously) and everyone's favourite, Trevor!

I hope the real one does something along the same lines, i.e. using Thanos front and center. The classic covers always had bigger than life villains on the front.

Exactly, what the [frick] is football anyway? I keep hearing about these "sports" things, but I can never wrap my head around what the hell they are. Going outside? Moving? Are you high? How can anyone like something so alien, and barbaric? *Goes back to reading comics, and arguing about fictional characters online*

While I like the simpleness of the poster and doesn't go all photoshopped, I feel like something's missing you know?

Like it's well drawn, well designed but something's missing.

Maybe a different position for Thanos you know? Like keep the background and try using him in a different manor.

Maybe have actually all the heroes defeated on the ground and we see Thanos's back turned like they were no match.

Why are we all assuming that Thanos destroyed the Vision to get the mind gem? What makes you all think he'll ever collect all of the gems?
LEVITIKUZ
LEVITIKUZ - 9/13/2015, 12:42 PM
I'm confused about Vision too.

So when the gem has to come off of him, he dies?

Why would Thor and Tony need to give him that electric shock to make him alive if the gem is what powers him?

Since part of Ultron is in Vision, maybe the gem acts as a balance sort of and when it's gone, the Ultron in Vision starts to come out and he can't think straight.

Anyone else think it looked liked Spawn?

The shading/shadows on his head and the glowing eyes color threw me off for a second. haha.

It looks awesome! My only gripe is that position of the gems, the colours green is to conspicuous to me. Looks weird...

But heck I could do this so hat off to ya! This really is an awesome piece of art!
