While Kevin Feige has previously said that the first trailer for Avengers 4 will debut this year, some fans have wondered if Marvel Studios might keep us waiting until Captain Marvel, especially as the Infinity War sequel will be a hit regardless of what we do or do not see from it beforehand.
Thankfully, during a special screening of Black Panther which was held for potential Oscar voters, those in attendance were able to ask questions and we now have some very interesting new intel on the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
For starters, the Avengers 4 trailer will be with us before 2018 is over and looking back to when the Infinity War teaser was released, we can probably expect to see that online by November or December. That will be an exciting way to end the year for fans, especially as plenty of new details will no doubt accompany it (probably via an Entertainment Weekly cover story).
In other news, Feige confirmed that Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is on hold for the time being and noted that a decision still hasn't been made about bringing Namor the Submariner to the big screen.
