@Rybaman - For real... like a War Machine movie?

I mean, don't get me wrong, Rhodey is one of the most under-appreciated Avengers, but there's NO WAY they give him his own movie/show. Don Cheadle is 54, for God's sake.

I could see him showing up in the Falcon and the Winter Soldier show.

@Rybaman - agreed, It took 10 years to get 4 Avengers movies... and the last two were back to back... so its more like one every 3 years.
Why would Feige announce a new Avengers movie when he is only naming off 1-2 years of new movies... i just don't get these writers.

I wouldn’t mind them putting the Avengers on ice for a while, revolve the phases around it. Have teams like Fantastic Four or the X-Men save the day. Always thought the X-Men were a great contrast to how the Avengers were treated like the high school football team whereas the X-Men were the freaks and geeks. It would be cool to lean into that more now that they coexist in the same cinematic universe.

Thought the slate was pretty perfect, aside from the Spider-Man absence. Mostly because I'm anxious for an announcement because of the Sony complication. After Far From Home and its mid-credits scene I'm so hungry for more Spidey stories. I think they still have an open release date though so maybe they're waiting for Sony.

But really that's all for me personally. I'm not a huge Namor fan, Avengers needs a break so that it can mean something when a new team forms, Ant-Man and the Wasp didn't do much at all for me I really don't like that film, Deadpool is an unkown probably being saved for Phase 5, War Machine we've just seen a lot of, same with Hulk and he'll have to be shoved in to someone else's movie anyway, and Power Pack??
There are a ton of more exciting prospects to put to film for the first time over Power Pack.

@SpideyPuffsMJ - Feige said 11 projects even though there was 10 on the slate. Unless he was taking about Blade (which he’s acknowledge is way out) he must have meant Spider-Man 3. But of course that’s up to Sony to announce, which will no doubt happen soon, possibly at d23, which seems like a good formal stage to drag out Pascal.

@SpideyPuffsMJ - I don’t think there’s anything to worry about regarding a 3rd Spiderman, it’s only 19 mil away from a billion which is what it need to hit for them to be able to make a 3rd with creative control. After that I’m concerned especially after the success of Venom and Spiderverse that they will try and take him back but the house of mouse is not one to be trifled with so who knows

@Ha1frican - it’s probably already hit a billion, just waiting on the international box office update.

@Frshcoupe - I don’t think he will get a solo movie. If anything, he is probably gonna be part of a team-up movie

@MalseMarcel - Kevin has said numerous times that they have a vision board of sorts of immediate plans and Nova is on that board.

Namor I feel has to be introduced in someone else’s movie or a team movie to work considering just how similar he is to Aquaman even in his origin (I know Aquaman is the ripoff but the GA doesn’t know that). Give him the Hulk Ragnarok treatment and add him to like an Avengers or Fantastic 4 movie or something. Ant-man and the Wasp are the only character I’m worried about seeing again in their own film bc of what Paul Rudd has said. I think as awesome as Phase 4 sounds Phase 5 is going to be the new Phase 2 where we get all the sequels that really change things up and get the ball rolling towards the future think about it we will have

Definitely
•Blade
•Black Panther 2
•Guardians Vol 3
•Captain Marvel 2
•Spiderman 3

Probably
•Fantastic 4
•X-men in some form

Possibly
Ant-man 3

And that’s not even including whatever Disney+ series come through the pipe by that point. I actually wouldn’t be surprised to see Ant-man end up as a Disney show now that I think about it

@Ha1frican - I expect FF to be phase 5, but don’t see the X-Men being part of it
